This week's USTFCCCA rankings are out and Oregon held steady at No. 1 on the men's side and No. 2 for the women. The UCLA men came in at No. 16, so we'll have a 1-versus-16 match-up on Saturday.

Don't look now, but the Pac-10 is slowly making its presence felt in the men's poll. After being almost non-existent in the preseason, the Conference of Champions now shows No. 1 Oregon, No. 13 Arizona State, No. 14 Washington, No. 16 UCLA, No. 17 Stanford, No. 18 California, No. 19 USC and No. 20 Washington State. That's eight of the nine teams in the top 20.

The Pac-10 is the only conference in the country with eight men's teams in the top 20. The story continues on the women's side where No. 2 Oregon leads five Pac-10 teams in the top 20 -  No. 5 Arizona State, No. 8 USC, No. 9 UCLA and No. 20 Stanford. Only the SEC can match the Pac-10's five ranked teams.
